ĭuring the Imperial Simulacrum in the late Third Era, Firewatch was ruled by Queen Vaynth and had a rivalry with Ebonheart. These vials were then used to infect that city's ancient Necropolis. Ĭirca 2E 582, the Hidden Kindred chartered the merchant ship Stormwing to transport Peryite's holy miasma from Firewatch to Necrom. Vivec himself stayed there on more than one occasion. The ancient Indoril fortress of Bal Tereg has stood near the city for thousands of years, though rings within rings of stone suggested even older civilizations had made their home there. Notable Locales ĭuring a certain Chil'a prior to the Interregnum, a witch of Molag Bal once made an assassination attempt on the heir of Firewatch using poison, but this ended in failure. Firewatch is neighbored by several settlements, including Velothis Haven to the east, Helnim Wall to the southeast, and Old Run to the west across the sea. A great palace and well-guarded harbor are found in the city, along with a Silt Strider that usually provides regular transport. Other wildlife in the area includes wild guar, skylamps, and parraptons. Firewatch is located on the inlet region called Ouada Gla'amnir deep in the badlands area of Morrowind's mainland, which spans across the province's Northeast Highlands areas and is characterized by an isolated population that tends to herds of bugs. The settlement called Tel Aedrin is located somewhere south of it, and the Indoril fortress village of Bal Tereg is found nearby. The buildings are constructed in the Indoril style. The large island found to the north has a fertile plain-like terrain. There are some shallower parts of the strait where striders can cross with ease, but the waters can become dangerous in the winters and many sunken shipwrecks are found at the bottom.
